Having just spoken to the vmware engineer (heartbeat specialist) SSO is currently not supported running from the same server vCenter is running on in a heartbeat environment. As such VCHB is not a valid method of protecting SSO and it must be run on its own. There is a fix expected in U1 due in Q2/3.

    Hi Scott/Michael

Is this lack of support for SSO on the same server as vCenter and protected by VCHB detailed in any VMware KB's anywhere?

    Thanks
